# Change the words on a page

The one thing this editor asks you to learn: click the words, type over them, publish.

## 1. Open the page in the editor

Sign in, open your site, and press Edit — or add ?edit=true to the end of any page’s address. The page looks the same, with a toolbar across the top.

## 2. Click the line you want to change

The cursor lands where you clicked. Type over the words, or select a few and use the bar that floats over them for bold, colour, a link.

## 3. Click away, or press Escape, when you are done

The change is saved to your draft as you type. Nothing is live yet.

## 4. Press Publish

The toolbar’s Publish button puts the draft live. Every publish is kept as a revision, so you can always go back.
