Put a picture or video behind the banner

A flat band of colour reads as a template. A few seconds of the real place reads as a business.

1. Select the banner

In the editor, click the banner’s edge or its handle so the section is selected, and open its settings.

2. Choose a background

Upload a picture or a short clip of your own; or pick one of the ready-made loops; or search the free photo library from the same card.

3. Check the words still read

A dark shade is laid over the picture for you, so white words stay readable. Drag the slider if you want more or less of the picture showing.

4. Pick which part to keep on a phone

A landscape picture in a tall phone banner is cropped. The position setting says which part to keep — the shopfront, not the sky.
